My son-in-law's 40th birthday surprise party Feb. 2008

Here are some pages from my son-in-law's birthday party. My daughter and her husbands, cousin John's fiance, Rebecca; planned this party. Chris was very surprised, everyone did a good job of keeping the secret. A good time was had by all, as you can see. The pages are mostly creative memories, and basic gray, stickers are as well creative memories and K & C.

February 2008 - Girls Dance Recital

These are pages I did for my granddaughters dance recital last year, I just got them done a week or so ago. Emi is our dancer, she has always had a natural knowledge of a beat. For Annie, dancing is a little more challenging, but she is also good at it. All of these pages I have used either creative memories or basic gray paper, and cm stickers, as well as K & C stickers.

My Parents Cats - Nebraska February 2008

Here is a scrapbook page of my parents cats. I believe they got both of them from a stray cat who had her kittens under their porch. If I remember correctly they come from 2 different litters.

My Nephew Montana - Mickey's son

This is a picture of Montana, he is all boy and constantly keeps you on your toes. He's becoming a handsome young man, with a curious mind. He loves pushing buttons and my husbands pager, and cameras, etc.. I am excited to see what he grows up to be.

My Neice's in Nebraska, 2008-February

Here are a couple of pages I did recently on my 2008 scrapbook. Summer is my neice by marriage, a beautiful girl. She is such a big help to my brother, with his wife's health issues. Plus his health issues. We are so lucky that she is part of our family.

My other neice is Cheyenne, she is Rita's and Mickey's daughter, born in January and is just a little younger than my oldest granddaughter Cheyanne. Mickey calls her Nanner, not sure why... My parents say she is a lot like I was growing up, poor thing. She is a cutey, can't wait to see what she will grow up to be.

I used mostly Creative Memories Paper, some stickers I believe from K and Company, the hearts and stars are from CM punches.

Our Dog Rory

Here are some pictures of our dog. I say our's because my daughter and granddaughters, include her as theirs as well. I had been saying for a while I wanted to get a puppy, but never could commit to doing it, or get my husband to say yes. We had a couple of really good dogs, during our marriage. Buffy, who was a puppy of my parents dog, Brandy. She was 14, and our daughter was 13 when we had to put her down. She had lost the ability to hold her bladder and her sight was going. Then about a year later, my daughter convinced me to go to the pound, and we found a puppy whose tummy was so big, that when she tried to stand up in the cage she would fall over. My daughter was instantly in love, with her. Her name was Skeeter. My daughter through her teen years, college, and marriage; had her dog intermittently with us taking care of her when she couldn't. A few years ago, when the dog was about 13 years old, she just wandered away. We are not sure what happened to her. But, our oldest granddaughter was quite heartbroken.

In between, we had two puppies, cocoa and mitzi. Both at the same time, BIG Mistake!! They dug up Gordy's yard he put so much work into. They destroyed all kinds of things. Eventually, we gave them both away. So, we were a little burned out on the animal thing, at the time.

Then Gordy started working longer hours, and my hours got shorter. It was hard being by myself so much of the time. That's when we got Rory.

She is a Jack Russell Terrier, very smart, very fun, always getting into trouble. But, she has brought a lot of joy back into our lives. She gives us something to love, that loves us back. She gives us somebody to play with, and walk, and talk to. Even though, she was my puppy, she seems to be more my husbands'. One of Dawn's cat's (Bella) is in the pictures, she has the same personality as Rory. They both think they are the Queen of the house, so when they are together, it's a fun time to be had by all. 2009 Calendar Scrapbook pages

Here are the pages I completed, some are more done than others, but when you start this and just want to finish(at least when I do). You get to a point where you are just done. Anyway, most of these pages are all creative memories, with a few stickers from other sources, that I don't quite remember. Hope you enjoy!!
